Future Plans : Still a lot of Miles to Go as this is only a beginning towards a greater goal of Providing Health and Sustainability in those areas of West Bengal. Our upcoming program includes:
- We are planning to a build a multi-specialty Health clinic in Jharkhali Area to cater to the quick response needs of medical emergencies. We surveyed various areas of Jharkhali and understood that there is an urgent need to build a health clinic with round-the-clock doctor available for Emergency Response. The stock of medicine should also be replenished regularly at discounted prices. A Multi-Specialty Health Clinic will serve all the above issues.
- We are planning to organize Skill Development Programs for Women Empowerment and Sustainable Livelihood. We are creating a detailed plan with focus on Cutting and knitting works. We are planning to train Women and provide them with machines to perform their job. This will create earning opportunities for the underprivileged women and induce self-belief.
- We are planning to organize Home Care and Education support centers for underprivileged and Unsupported Children.
- We are planning to organize monthly health camps with Specialized doctors and distribute nutritional supplements.
- We are planning for Organic farming in that area.
- We plan to install a Water-Treatment plant in Sundarban which will help immensely in controlling the Water borne diseases. We have identified a site in Hironmoypur to install a Solar energy based Water treatment cum Water ATM. This treated water from this plant will provide clean drinking water to 500 families of that area. This will immensely help in mitigating the persistent threat of Water borne diseases prevalent in this area.
- We are planning to purchase an Ambulance and put it in operation in Jharkhali Area so that quick response can be provided to move critical patients from these remote areas to Kolkata (Or to nearest Health Care Unit). It is witnessed that the number of deaths during child birth is rising due to the fact that it takes long time to reach proper health care unit when the need of delivery is there. So, an Ambulance will help pregnant women to reach better and timely birth support.
- We have also planned for providing Wheelchairs to some Autistic patients across the Sundarban Area.
- We are planning to organize educational trips to Kolkata for the enthusiastic young minds from South 24 Parganas.
